Today we sailed from Mustique to
Canouan in company with Sibilation. A fantastic way to spend New
Years day - a great start to 2012. Nick took some good shots of us
sailing and we tried to do the same for them.
We are anchored
in Charlestown Bay and have managed to find fresh fruit and veg
and a
cash point!
Canouan is lovely - (well the south bit where we
are is - the north half of the island is a private hotel resort
having a difficult time and may be lovely too but it is privately
owned). The beaches are clean and golden sand. This is the least
developed of the islands we have been to so far. When we went
ashore,
there was a wedding in progress that seemed to involve half of the
towns population. Great fun.
We are heading for Tobago Cays
next. The anchorage is good here however, the wind is very gusty
as
it blows around the hills in front of us.
I have found and
repaired the mystery water leak. The pressure on the system is
very
high - great for showering but hard on the fittings and
joints.

New
Years Day 2012

We
see a lot of Turtles!

"Seeing
in" 2012 at Basils Bar - The longest firework display
ever?!

New
Years eve dinner on Pau Amma. I'm not sure which ruined the photo
most, Louis or the low light / bad photography.
