Left the cruising chute up last night; were on the
edge though doing 7 kts most of the night with a brief spell on my watch upo to
7.8kts which was uncomfortable. Wind eased today and had pleasant sailing doing
about 4 to 5 kts in a light westerly breeze. Forecast says stronger winds from
tonight throgh next few days so will take down chute before nightfall. All been
sitting on deck reading, Sam's read 5 books this trip!! Thanks mainly to Chris
Ryan. Had our last fry up this morning, no eggs left now. Ed cooking tonght
having lost spoof with Sam. About 275 miles to go so expect to be in Falmouth
about Wednesday morning; going to tie up at Falmouth Marina and we all extend
the warmest welcome to anyone who would like to join us for a few beers, our
first for some time.
