had a great nights sail with the wind dead behind
us; took us a while to get the right rig set up correctly, we ended up with 3
reefs in the main and 2 reefs in the genny which was poled out on the port
side(opposite side to the main) so saililng a goosewing configuration. Ed woke
us up at 6.30 this morning after the wind had strengthened and backed the main;
Sam and I dragged ourselves up on deck to find the wind blowing a hooleyand
raining as aweather front was passing over us. We furled the genny and stowed
the pole and got her sailing on a more comfortable heading. Been making good
progres all day with quite a sea following us. So far days runs have been 103 nm
and 121nm.
Sam cooked us the muh anticipated chilli only to
find the chilli power we booght in Horta wasnt chilli powder and not the
slightest bit spicey. Nevermind tabasco sorted it out.
Hi to harrison, hope you're reading this, we love
you very much and hope to see you soon.
