COG: 260 speed 4.7knts, wind less than 10knts from the east, seas calmer today but still a bit rolly. Engine on - motor sailing. Society islands time 4.20pm
Well not much news from us today. We have been plodding on slowly with very light winds. The headsail is poled out and occasionaly flappy but it does seem to give us an extra 0.5knt while we are motoring. Last night was very calm and easy going, full moon out as well so it just felt like it was dawn all night. We are both feeling pretty well rested which makes a nice change on passage.
We spent some time on the foredeck today fixing the dinghy - which is about as exciting as it gets. We are getting through books and podcasts very quickly and we have a stack of tuna in the fridge and freezer from yesterdays fish. We have an order in this evening for a Mahi mahi please.
All being well we should get to Pamerston in about 2 days time. Hoping for a little bit more wind to get us there....
