Long rainy squally night for us last night. I think both of us spent each of our watches in full wet weathers. That has carried on much the same during the day. We have had a few non rainy patches but its pretty grey. Wind has been up anywhere to 28knts but has now settled around 18-20. We attempted to run angles this morning to get a bit more from the wind we had, it worked well until the wind came up again and the seas with it - making it a bit more uncomfortable. So we are just poled out headsail now happily going 6+ knots which is much more comfortable.
Not much news from us, we are both pretty tired today after not getting much sleep last night so are trying our best to get some good naps in. Not easy when there is so much movement and noise. I'm sure after all this training I would be sure to sleep through an earth quake if I needed to. It feels like we have to sleep through them constantly through the night. Anyway shouldn't complain - at least we have some wind and are trucking a long in the right direction.
Really looking forward to getting to land, a full nights sleep, shower and a swim.
No fish for us, we have seen a number of tuna near the boat happily swimming a long the side of the boat but no interest in the lures....
