The Panama Canal Transit - Beyond All Expectations Part 4

A long but exhilarating day ended at midnight. Moored overnight to a gigantic mooring ball in Gamboa, rafting with Man of War on our port and Makara on our starboard.

A constant stream of ships passed to our port, going towards the Atlantic.

A tug pulls backwards, to stop a ship moving too fast down the Canal.

David, was our pilot on day 2.

Skipper Louis and Pilot David skillfully manage the nest.

Irene IV in the middle of the nest.

Pilot on board flag, white and red, raised.

Sit down lunch while waiting in the Pedro Miguel lock
