Chris,
Our position:
LATTITUDE=
48 56.415 N
LONGITUDE=
04 48.295 W
Other
info= Unfortunstely
all the instruments died at sunset yesterday so we are doing it the old
fashioned way and therefore I cant give you as much info as I'd
like.
Nav:
COURSE STEERED= 220
SPEED= 8.4
Weather Observations:
WINDSPEED= 15
DIRECTION=
W/SW
TRENDS=
These are all guesses
but we had a consistent NW until about 0300 and then it backed W and steadily
further to S of W probably at W now. We did see a couple of light showers a few
hours ago as it moved. Currently fairly low cumulus which are thickening to the
SW very grey to the NW of us. Dawn is commencing but looks unlikely to see
anymore than a glimse of the sun.
TIDE=
Decreasing, but not strong now in 1 hour will be with us and building and
favourable for 6hrs.
SEASTATE= Moderate
Intentions/status:
We are 29miles from the outside corner of Ushant
and pretty much already on the bearing to Finnesterre, eta at Ushant is
currently 1015 but I expect that to come down once tide has turned say
0930.
Intend to carry on on this heading hopefully
pointing at Finnesterre.
All onboard are well I am looking foward to sunrise
to try to get to the bottom of the 2020 and FFD issue.
Hope your well, speak soon.
Hugh.
