Start of the ARC - 26th November
2006
The much awaited day is here all the
preparation have been done and what has not been completed must now wait to be
done at sea or in St Lucia. 250 yachts all of different size and configuration
left Las Palmas, Grand Canaria for Rodney Bay, St Lucia the trip had to be
completed by the 21st December 2006 after this time the ARC 2006 was official
closed.

 An amazing day seeing all the boats preparing
for the start and then seeing all sails being raised and boats sailing off into
the horizon.
