Either way skipper Dan is convinced we get wind, and we all trust in Dan's decisions
and proclamations! I said "no talk about food" and so it shall be, but you have to share this one. We are out of bread, among other things, which prompted Dan to dig into his childhoods memories about how to make bread. It is a bit easier today since the flower is prepared for a bread-machine, in other words just add water. Now that sounds simple enough, it is even stated on the bag how much water one should add. The only problem was, we do not have a measure thing, so instead of starting out carefully adding a bit of water at the time, I believe I saw
Ottie supplying the full contents of the water jar, as you already have guessed the dough became a bit sticky, to rectify that little challenge Dan started to add flower, with a little bit of help from Ottie since Dan's hands by now was covered in sticky dough,
the end result was a 300 gram bread grew to a 550 gram bread in no time, by which the dough had released Dan's hands and wrist, it was not a pretty sight, good thing the stuff can be removed with a bit of water. When the going goes though, the though gets going Footnote. The whole show passed over Des head - something to do with a bunk holding him down - he believed we had brought long-life bred with us and was now tucking into that ... He has since learned it is not so, Des is 'Mother' today and had to assist me with the bread makeing
process, I didn't dare letting Des loose on the dough when he mentioned Beer instead of water. We have to leave you and love you or is it the other way ...
