We have motored to Isla del Rey and are anchored just at the mouth of the river. Our dinghy tour up the river was lovely. Many birds, no crocodile sightings.

Winds are quite brisk at 30+ knots so we will stay at anchor here for the night and motor to the tiny fishing village of Esmeralda. We hope there will be an internet connection, if not we are only able to send the blog diary via satellite phone until we reach the Galapagos. After a brief visit ashore tomorrow we will decide whether we will set sail to Galapagos tomorrow.
