Arrive in Lanzarote at first light. Strange, barren
island populated by millions of holiday flats. Apparently they have to make
their own water so limited are the natural resources.
Yesterday was a great day - a slight sea, genoa
poled out downwind, baked two fine loaves of bread (Kit said they looked like
the kind of thing he expected you might be offered in prison), caught a dorado
which will be eaten shortly for lunch, all polished off with an apple and black
cherry crumble and cream.
