Yesterday afternoon and evening provided good sailing,
the wind died in the night, so we are now under engine - at least providing
charge to hungry batteries. In the last hour we've been helped by wind in
the north, so with luck we'll be able to sail without the engine later. We are
now properly in the English channel - I have folded away the Atlantic chart and
we are surrounded by other boats - fishing and cargo.
t present we are steering 55 deg M, which will take us
to Plymouth sometime tomorrow.
