Welcome to Oboe D’Amore’s weblog. This first entry marks the run up to Oboe’s first adventure.  Four long passages from her home in Northney Marina, Hayling Island, UK to Antigua in the West Indies via Portugal, Gran Canaria and St Lucia.

Right now Oboe is getting a lot of care and attention as she is upgraded to blue water standards.  A mixture of UK coastal skippered charters and formal sea trials is keeping her busy right up to the time when she is due to head south and away from UK waters for her first adventure.
