Our marina berth overlooks Panama City and the building boom here is creating a high rise landscape of appartments and a business centre. One new development has a swimming pool covering 100.000sqm. We are busy repairing the boat, an ongoing project and now have a working bowthruster and a sattelite phone again. However the automatic pilot light on the stove has stopped working and we broke a fairlead coming through the locks so as usual our to do list never gets any shorter. Our most important job is to pack as much food and drink as we can into Moonshadow because we will not be able to restock for 80 days. The city is just about to swing into Carnival time so traffic is heavy and trips to Supermarkets and Chandlers take a long time. We went on a trip into the rainforest and saw Capuchin monkeys, crocodiles and some beautiful parrots and monkeys. Tomorrow we leave here for the Las Perlas islands.
