We anchored last night in Poyraskoy at the top of the Bosphorus next to a 27 ft Ukrainian yacht. As usual I gave it plenty of room but was surprised that as the wind veered it looked like we might touch. We were so close that we had a chat about it. He only had rope on his anchor and had let out over 60 mts. It was only 3mts deep. I moved......

Leaving this morning the sun was rising as we made our way through all the ships waiting for a pilot to take them down the Bosphorus.

We had to cross the TSS (Traffic Separation Scheme) which is ok as they only let ships through in one direction at once and there is usually ten minutes between them.

There is a settlement opposite Poyraskoy and fishing harbour.

On both sides of the Bosphorous there are the remains of defence fortifications.

A final look back at what I think are the Clashing Rocks.
