At 23:00 Italian time we dropped anchor at Pozzarello, near Porto Santo Stefano, and slept in the quiet, calm anchorage...at least we tried to sleep. After so long living with the noise of the motor and the movement of the sea, it was difficult to sleep in such calm. The next morning we entered the port and manoeuvered into the tight mooring in front of theshipyard Cantiere Navale dell’Argentario, the yard that restored some of the finest, old sailing boats ever made. Home sweet home...casa dolce casa!! There’s a couple of weeks of work to do and we’re off again for the Mediterranean summer cruising season. To everyone following this blog, and I understand there are quite a few, there will be a short break until we let go the mooring again and head off into the seas of the gods of ancient Greece and Rome.
