ROUND BRITAIN VOYAGE COMPLETED

At 1510 this afternoon Gemini, with David Lintin and I on board, crossed the finish line of my Round Britain Voyage, which began on 10June. We left Bembridge just before lunch with a NE wind, Force 4. However the wind soon died and we had to motor with the Solent tide pushing us westwards apace.

We are continuing our journey to Poole and up to Wareham for winter storage of the yacht on the hard there.

I cannot but thank all the sponsors who have given so generously to the Prostate Cancer Research Centre and hope that more donations will be forthcoming.
