Our current position is 14.58.01S 147.38.25W. We arrived at the entrance about 9.30am (UTC 11.30pm)It seems we did get the tide right as we had no problem coming in where as Mambo had a bumpy passage through yesterday. We have been over to the village which is quite a trek as its across the other side of the opening from the anchorage and is not easy to get across especially when the temporary repair to our outboard propeller gave out so we had no propulsion. Still we made it there to find shops shut and we made it back although it was a bit doubtful at one point as we were being swept onto some rocks. Jim is now looking at the thing again to see if another temporary repair can be done.
Rang Ma and Pa today all seems well although they were getting ready for bed as we have an 11 hour time difference. Its our wedding anniversary today, Jim remembered and I didn't as I didn't know what the date was, not sure that I remembered what day it was but do know we are still in July! We are not alone in this boating world in loosing track of days and dates. 22years in case you are wondering!
