Grey morning!

What a difference a couple of hours of good sleep can make! I managed a really good 2 hour kip when I came off watch at 03.00 and feel much revived! We are still running with the wind aft of the beam under the big genoa and full main and achieving 6.5kts +. Bliss is about 2nm astern. Weather looks better in that we think and hope we can avoid being swallowed by the calm patch. We will probably set the spinnaker again when Bill has had a few hours kip. Looks like we may have a beam reach on Stb in a WNW breeze until we get closer to the Azores where it may well be very light airs. We reckon we reach our half way point soon – assuming 1200nm – as we have currently done 585 (at 07.00). All is well and today is shower day as we seem to have plenty of water still, and above all a day to try to catch up on some zzzzzzz! There is no shipping about so hopefully it will be a quiet day.
