Sunday 4th June

Great start yesterday thanks to Bill’s timing measurements! We close reached towards Manacles buoy with Carrick (Rustler 42) to leeward and Chimera (Rustler 36) on our quarter – lovely to see 3 beautiful Rustlers so close! We decided to head further south for quite a few miles for fear of being swallowed by the calm hole which was forecast to move over us. We then set the spinnaker and had a fabulous spinnaker run all night in about 12 to 15 Kts breeze. That has built to over 20 now so spinnaker is back in its bag and genoa is poled out. Still getting over 7kts. All is well on board and we are slowly setting into a routine! Weather is fabulous and dolphins have visited us already at dawn this morning as the sun rose! Beautiful!
