We are anchored at hospital point right in the centre of Norfolk and just across from customs house.  After all the hassle of getting the visas in Nassau, actually checking into the US was a breeze.  Andrea dropped me off in the tender at 9:00 to go to the customs and the process was all completed by 10:00.  There was even time to visit the mall in the morning so Andrea could buy a new frock. 

 

In the afternoon we took the tender over to the marina at the Nauticus centre, which is the museum housing the battleship Wisconsin.
