OK, so it was over a month ago since ARC Europe left us in Tortola in the BVIs, but this is our first blog entry since then and we can’t just skip over this most significant of events, the final departure of the World ARC fleet to the far, cold, wet corners of the globe.  Here is a photo of the departure.  (Most boats are heading in the right direction but there is always some joker who decides to sail the length of the start line on starboard tack.)
