Our next expedition was to Cape Hillsborough at 05.30 in the morning on Friday 31 May to see the Wallabies on the beach. They come to feed at dawn and the Ship’s Boy was particularly anxious to get a “selfie” with the Wallabies to send to Stella, the eldest grandchild.
“Granny” with the wallabies in the background.
Better photograph of the Wallabies, eating something the rangers put out for them.
This is just to show how warm it was!
After the beach at dawn it was a hike for the Skipper and “Granny” while Skipper’s wife and Jane went bird watching.
Very obliging Laughing Kookaburra posing for a photograph.
Whatever else, it is not tropical here and there is no question of swimming with or without sharks and crocodiles.
