Stayed until Sunday at Marigot Bay.   Friday was “social day” – we had already met up with Sid and Peggy from ‘Limin Time’ (Canada).  Then at the coffee bar we recognised Clive & Judith (Welsh) from ‘Saphina of Beaumaris’ (who had also done the ARC and who have two cats onboard).  Then there was John and Anne (American) from ‘Folis a Deux’ (we had been with Anne on the Indian River tour in Dominica).  Going back to the boat we than spoke to the owners of an Oyster from Cowes just finishing a circumnavigation.  Then finally we saw Eric (‘Luna Quest’, UK) who we had met in Antigua and subsequently in The Saintes.  He had acquired a crew, Julia, who is a Yorkshire farmer’s wife.

Saturday, cleaned the boat bottom as best we could using snorkel and scraper, and then ate with company at Dolittles.

10.00 today, having cleared out, we sailed in convoy with ‘Limin Time’ under headsail for the short hop (8.1 Nm) to the Pitons where we have moored for the night before making an early start tomorrow to make the 50+ Nm journey to Bequia.  As spectacular from the water as they were from the land when we were here in December.
