The wheel pedestal was removed on Wednesday last week and I drove the unit to Emsworth for a full overhaul. Cliff Mogbridge (?) reckons it will be done by the end of the week.
Its one less thing to be concerned about going forward.
I’m onboard now, Sunday evening, doing some small jobs that just never seem to get to the top of the list such as main sheet track lines, spinnaker pole ends refurb and tidying the aft bunk that has been a dumping ground for all sorts.
Amazingly i now have a ton of trash to take ashore tomorrow and a couple of bags of bits that will head home with me to sit in the garage for who knows how long!
