Dear family, friends and fellow
sailors,
We're now half way through our 18 month trip away
from Townsville, and have decided it's time to begin a blog. Our trip so
far has been amazing with many months sailing through Indonesian, Malaysia and
Thailand. South East Asia is an incredible cruising destination and we can
understand why many yachties don't get any further than here.
Although we've already started our return journey
to Australia, we feel our most exciting adventures are yet to come. Our
return route will take us from the east coast of Malaysia (where we are now);
across the South China Sea to Borneo; along the north coast of Borneo and
through the Phillipines; out to Pulau and then down through the islands east of
PNG to the Louisiades; then back to Townsville. Anyway, that's the plan
but as many friends know our plans can sometimes change so we'll keep you
posted.
We also hope to share some of our past experiences
with you so keep checking our blog site for photos and blurb.
