We were very impressed by Cadiz. On our first evening we saw a local wedding at a beautiful church. ![]() There is considerable influence in architecture from the affluence of trade with the new world ![]() ![]() Heather found a great restaurant using trip advisor and we set out to eat Jamon Iberico and some of the best Rioja ever as recommended by Robert... ![]() The next day we explored the cathedral ( enormous) and climbed to the top of its tower ( the highest in Cadiz) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There are lots of wild cats that live near the marina, and also some very friendly dogs... ![]() ![]() On our second day we happened upon a strange festival in the Cathedral square with giant inflatable sea creatures... ![]() ![]() and Fred Flintstone maybe ![]() Later there was some great acrobatics from a non aquatic synchronised swimming team.... ![]() ![]() All in all a great experience And then we set off for Morocco... |
