Happy Sunday Funday!!
We are currently at 07:01.444S 124:27.747W and winds are
13 to 18 knots so we are sailing along nicely. We had to take down the
spinnaker at about 3:30 am due to loss of winds and motored for a bit but then
the winds filled in and we have had the full main and job out since
then.
No fishing today........we were going along a little
fast to fish so we did not bother. And otherwise it has been a nice day,
sunshine and good winds.
We are also grandparents again! Sam had Hadley
Dawn at 8:30 p.m. last night on March 14th. She was 7 lbs 7 oz and mom and
baby are doing well. So we are super excited about that and cannot wait to
see pics when we get some internet.
If all goes well we should arrive in Hiva Oa on
Saturday or Sunday. Hopefully we will not have an issue with entry in FP,
we have friends that were headed south of us to the Pitcairn Islands but they
have decided not to allow visitors due to the corona virus. So they have to
continue on to the next set of islands. I have been in touch with our
agent in FP just yesterday and there was no mention so I think we should be
fine. I mean technically we have all been in quarantine for the last 18 to
20 days.
