This is now our third day at sea and we’ve had some excellent sailing so far with a first noon-noon run of 140nm and only slightly less for the second.  We’re now roughly 100nm from the fjord leading into Bergen, having spent much of yesterday and last night working our way through oil and gas production platforms and dodging survey and fishing vessels.

We picked up a gale warning yesterday which has been reinforced today, but we think we should reach land before the worst of it hits: we’re all prepared and everything is on track to arrive in Bergen in good time to met Steve on Wed.  In fact we expect to arrive during the day tomorrow.  Here’s a team photo taken in a moment of calm and sunshine yesterday afternoon.
