Once again, we’ve been a bit remiss in keeping up to date. We got back to England in
mid-April before returning mid-May.
The weather has been lovely from arrival until two weeks ago, since when it’s been a bit grim.
We spent the first week nesting and getting the alternator regulator and horn mended s. The latter turned out to be cable-rot in the mast after only 20 years, so fingers crossed for all the other external wiring. The new Eberspacher works a treat and is much quieter than the genuine article.
We have been less ambitious this year and taken it much more slowly. We’ve done the usual trips to Benodet (St Marine), where we met Jo & Elisabeth, Lorient Port Louis, Piriac-sur-mer for a whole week, La Trinite, and currently in our old favourite Vannes
in a thunderstorm. La Trinite actually locked us in for 26 hours with a huge crane doing major work on the pontoon.

That apart, it’s all been very quiet with few dramas or breakages as yet.
Clare is very slowly improving with some sensation and movement in her toes, but she still needs crutches to cope with the foot drop.
