Karyn and I (Craig) are about to embark on the
first leg of our home journey back to Australia, the passage plan as
follows:
June
30 - August
5
UK - Scilly Isles, Brest, La Coruna, Bayonna, Lisbon, Madeira and finally
Tennerife
We fly back to the UK for more work before
returning for the next phase:
December 1 - December
25 Tennerife - Cape Verde -
Rio
January 2 - January
27
Rio - Cape Town
February 12 - March
20
Cape Town - Perth
It is a fairly quick trip but time isn't something
we can afford at the moment. Having said that, we are looking forward to it
immensely.
Our yacht is a Nicholson 45 called OLD NICK. She
has recently undergone a substantial refit for the journey home.
This is her below just after the re-launch before
the sprayhood was put back on.
 We have an Iridium phone and will be trying out
this diary service over the next 5 weeks to see if we can keep everyone up to
date as to where we are. |
