Well, its day 2 of the race (+crew detox programme); we are heading south at 9 knots listening to "I predict a riot" and I beleive that there will be one when the tea and biscuits run out!  We will be heading west on the trade winds soon but want to avoid a stationary low weather front between 2 hights (to you, Betty, and ll other non-sailors, that means lots of rain and no winds - bad, v.v, bad!!!!!!)

The crew have all settled into the watch system and we have all recovered from over-doing the sea-sickness tablets on day 1.  Fin, the skipper had a completely zombiefied crew for 6 hours - we could not keep our eyes open.  In our defense, we were reacting to the very bad weather reports.

We have a "twat cap", simon was wearing it yesterday after grinding his lifejacket into a winch, setting it off and sudenly growing a pair of bright yellow boobs.  I wonder wh will be wearing it today!

No dolpins today as yet, I think that they wait until no-one has a camera and then put on their show.  Night sailing has been beautiful with a clear sky and full moon lighting up the ocean and the sillouettes of our dolphin friends as they leap through the water next to us.

We ar enjoying the last of our fresh food, before moving onto the freeze dried astronaut stuff.  Tonights creation will be based on Can't cook, Won't cook, creating a spectular meal from 3 peppers, 6 tomatos, salami and a back of chick peas and 6 eggs   .....   more updates later.
