Hi all
We have moved a fair few miles since last online.
We left Portugal for Cadiz in Spain, this is where the French and Spanish fleet
were anchored just before the battle of Trafalgar which is about 20 miles south.
Here the brits won the battle and Nelson was shot and died 4 days later I
believe.
We spent 2 days in Cadiz, but were a little fed up
with Hispanic culture so needed a little Britain. We headed for Gibb,
unfortunately the last 200 miles we have had little wind and motored for much of
the way. The bad news was the water maker failed and was producing brackish
water. I called the supplier (Jim from Mactra) and he is sending a new filter to
us. I can only highly recommend Jim and Mactra as even while he is on holiday,
he is ensuring that we get the replacements we need. I wish all service was like
his.
Gib is interesting, the pommy accents I n 35-40
degrees heat is really weird. Last night we pulled into the Marina and we in the
rich row, Peter Andre (big tits Jordon's ex hubby) Is moored opposite us. Ok he
does not have laundry hanging off the lifelines and I have not seem him
scrubbing the Sahara sand off his decks, but he is here with full crew doing
what we do!
Today we did a tour of the rock, absolutely
brilliant, so interesting with the caves the monkeys and the military history
spanning 6 centuries of modern man. We also had a quick scan of the shops and
all the British shops are here, Marks and Spenser, Sainsbury etc
So we await the replacement filter for the water
maker, then we off up the med for 3 weeks before Megan arrives.
Hope everyone is well and please do send us emails,
remember your life is different to ours so it's entertaining hearing what you up
to.

resides in Australia!)
