Utila – anchorage with mainland mountains in the background.
![]() Dinghy stowed on foredeck, with the front half on spare halyard over the
fore hatch providing wind scoop and rain protection.
![]() Crossing the bar – 9 boats headed for Livingstone; I started out first and
arrived last – as always!
![]() Livingstone, Guatamala – can only be reached by boat.
![]() Going up Rio Dulce – jungle forest and cliffs all the way – Homer’s Odyssey
in front of me
![]() I took a photo of these herons perched in trees, they were everywhere and
the cicadas made a lot of noise.
![]() and Gambit II the only boat now behind me.
![]() Texan Bay – anchored for the night – how to build a house from
bamboo.
![]() Wide, but shallow 15’ for 10 miles. Always mountains in the
background, but now I am on the mainland.
![]() Settled in.
![]() Walk the plank!
