As we closed to within 50 miles of the Moroccan coast we altered course to 225' and headed straight onto the rhumb line to Gran Canarias. Weather -  again very sunny and warm and zephyr breezes from the east, which, if the GRIB file promises were true would start to fill in the next 24 hours. So, we were resigned to another day of motoring.

Luncheon was prepared by David - who did an excellent job preparing Chicken piri-piri and salad. Clean plates! Afternoon was spent looking across to Africa - but no Lions Giraffes or Elephants much to our disappointment.

Prawn chilli tagliatelle for super and then the main show....

Stars! Stars and more stars! Satellites , shooting stars, and with no light pollution to alter the optics we could see deep into space.. The most incredible experience was to lay on deck and look straight up through millions of light years.

Morning saw our breeze set in and the headsail was sent up. It gave us a free 1 knot of speed...

Crew all happy and gelling well ... !

Best Wishes to All
