Exciting times, we tremble on the edge of longitude 180 the mythical date line, in practice we jumped a day the other side of Tonga.
We are chilling on Vanuabalavu , it is a drop dead gorgeous island that is part of Fiji, not many live here and we have had customs officers fly out to clear us in.
Yesterday was an arduous walk down a deserted beach just me the sand and sea, today is little better we have anchored in bay of islands, just me and dinghy in deserted bays with some birds or monkeys that make a gutteral boom. gorgeous.
Tomorrow is swapping drugs with the locals, an ancient ritual where we give Cava , not the mock champagne, a root that you can get mellow on. In return we get to park our boat for nothing, diddly squat, nothing. A Bargain.
