Windy old time here and big waves 4 to 5
maters.
The wind did build during the evening and by midnight
20+ knots. Stbd gybe Harold was doing OK. Once on port gybe Harold was all over
the place. Since then we have been hand steering hour on hour off, likely to be
the case for another 24 hours. We now have 2 reefs in the main and working jib
up trying to keep wind 30 degrees off port quarter. For a little time during the
night regularly surfing 16 knots. 19.3 maximum seen trip log has max at 20.3
knots.
Too early to think of cooking, not sure would stay in
the pan.
