Woke this morning to rain then drizzle, poor
visibility but as we made our way towards Plymouth breakwater the vis
improved. Pleasant sailing with SW 10 knots, sun coming out at
times.
A lot of Fasnet boats are making their way East,
many I assume to the solent. Its a pleasant busy Saturday on the
water. We are heading for Dartmouth, one of our favorite ports.
It would be nice to get some hot dry weather so we
can get the kit and boat dried out and aired form her Atlantic
crossing, The linking characteristic of the weather experienced this
year is drizzle, rain and fog especially in every harbour. so the usual
routine of drying out stuff in harbour hasn't worked.
