Second blog this trip, my you are
lucky.
Fortunatley the wind started slowly picking up
yesterday afternoon and no doubt you can see from the YB tracker we are moving
along well now. Duogen is in the water and making free electric, so no need to
run generator etc, it even keeps up with fridge and freezer!
Looks like we should be arriving ealry hours of the
morning in Lanzarote, fingers crossed. The breeze is holding up far better
than the forecast, currently its approx 12 to 14 kn so about to put a reef in
for comfort, speed is 8 or 9 kn upwind!
So far no dolphins, whales, flying fish, only the
occasional sea bird and loads of ships.
