Calling all stations, calling all stations, this is
yacht Elixir, yacht Elixir. General warning to all fish in the area, we are a
fish magnet, we are a fish magnet. Calling all stations, yacht Elixir is a fish
magnet! Well we have well and truely broken our fishing duct, landing 2 Dorado,
each around 50 - 60 cm and then a flying fish heard that we treat the fish so
well on board that he through himself at the skipper's feet onto the foredeck.
One of the Dorado produced 4 rather fine fillets for four, and the second shall
become either fishy tortilla wraps or a fishy salsa with pasta, to represent the
spanish routes to the trip.
The hours of daylight have remained the same, but
they have shifted forwards. Day breaks at around 8 am and stays with us until
about 8 pm. Might be time to adjust our clocks for the first time
soon!
Our master Irish baker continues to produce
fantastic bread and we are enjoying a loaf with Elixir, etched into the top of
it today.
The weather is hot and the wind is blowing well in
a perfect direction.
