Sunday April 6, 2014 (Caribbean time)

We did not Leave Montego Bay until yesterday as we had more problems with the water cooling system. All ok now we think. The only scary bit is that one of the rubber hoses has a split, It is a specific shape so need to get on sent from England, so I have taped it with ‘rescue tape’ (thanks Glen Strong) and self then self amalgamating tape on top of that held in place with two cable ties. We gave it a good test on our six hour journey to Negris.   Seems to be ok…

We hope to leave Negris early tomorrow morning for Swan Island, The weather shows that we will get light winds on Wednesday so will need to use the motor for our arrival. If we are going well and we feel not too tired we will bypass Swan and go straight to Roatan. Swan is about three days away and Roitan one day from Swan. Watch for position reports….
