We’ve all arrived safely – Byron from Houston via New York, Lisbon & Faro, Chris & I from Gatwick/ Faro, and James from Amsterdam via Heathrow and Faro. So location still - "37:06.26N 08:40.25W". Boat yard fixes have all been completed but we’re getting some adjustments made, most of all because they stole one of my lockers to put more batteries in! But the yard is being very co-operative and we’re reworking it to put the two new batteries in a locker where there are already three. The rest of our time is being spent repacking, cleaning, and planning jobs to be done, here/ now but also once we’re at sea, including running through all the safety gear/ drills etc. Weather is rather wet and windy but forecast to be on our beam (side) for the run down to Madeira which we plan to set off for on Saturday morning; it should take about three days.
