We made it to Roatan yesterday – another long motor into the wind. The weather guesser said there was a good probability that we would have the winds to sail, and foolish us believed him.

If problems come in threes then we are set for a while. Our autopilot broke and I don’t have the part to repair it, the engine shredded a belt, and in the process cut a cooling line, and the generator runs but doesn’t generate. Time to spend a day in the engine room.
