Start of the first tiring night of the race...
We've all split up, and for some reason I've lost
most of the competitors on the AIS, although I can see their lights, I've been
passed by a couple, which has depressed me... I need just a couple of extra
knots of wind to make her fly, she's not brilliant in light airs like the
Contessa's. I have the chute up at the moment, in about 7-9kts of wind i'm
getting around 4.5 kts, with help from the current I'm over 5 knots, my
target speed. But others are faster... Oh well, I'll get there when I get
there!
