Now back at anchor off Spanish Town on Virgin Gorda having said goodbye to
Sue on Thursday. Had a great 2 weeks with her enjoying all the highlights of the
B.V.I. Some great snorkelling including The Caves on Norman Island, The Indians,
The Baths and Monkey Point. Perfect sailing conditions most of the time
including a lovely sail up to Anegada where we spent a couple of days
culminating with Sue taking us out for a fabulous lobster dinner at a waterside
restaurant ( Thanks Sue !). All this plus sunny skies, temperature a fairly
constant 30 degs C, sandy beaches etc. etc. The only downside being the cost of
everything. About double what you pay in the U.K. for groceries. We once paid $9
US for a loaf of bread !!
So we are sitting here waiting for a weather window to head back to St.
Martin. Then on to St. Kitts where we are meeting up with Bob and Rose Trickey
who are on a cruise on Brittania. Looks like Monday might be the best day.
Later everyone
