20 miles to go!!!!!

Yesterday, I did allude to the fact that there might be trouble over this "examination" of expenses. Well there has been!

I have to admit, that on a boat, I tend to anthropomorphise bits of important kit. They become like friends to me. They look after me and me them.

So, last night I was chatting with George, the autoplilot, and told him about the shoddy treatment re pay and conditions that was about to be dumped on us poor workers. George got so angry he blew up. I mean literally blew into to separate and irreconcilable pieces!! So this means that Bligh had to emerge from his presidential suite and help with the steering .Not a happy bunny, but it gets better...

Unfortunately, at this point he became gripped by the delusion that he was actually a sailor. "Splice the mainbrace" he said,I know not why, "and hoist the spinnaker". So I got the my friend Suzie the spinnaker out and launched. She to was a bit miffed re recent events and wrapped herself tightly around Gerry ( the furling Genoa). All efforts to unwrap her have sofar failed.

I feel there may be a change of heart re pay and conditions examination.

Today's Meal will be: Nothing at all, as I am too knackered to do anything. Well worth it though :-) ;-) :-P
