We have sailed 163 miles in last 24 hours. Jib furl line repair done in morning morning and steering cables checked -all good. Winds are light but AJ still moving . We aim to rest today in preparation for strong northwest breeze tommorrow. Beautiful sunshine today -first beer of passage to celebrate repairs and nearing half way of passage to Azores.

We are happy to be back race mode after conservative night with jury rig furling line.

Squally winds continue although not as severe as before and thankfully without the heavy rain
